Bottom line- significant water damage in the storage unit due to their negligence. I moved out on 5 days notice. They are insisting I pay for the entire month. So far I am deciding not to worry about the damaged possesssions. I showed up Sat. Dec. 5 in the afternoon to pay my bill , when a new employee I had never seen before tried to tell my unit was being foreclosed on. I had made payments every month and was current on my rent. Then she admits to me the previous staff was embezzling from them. They lost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Despite the fact she knew this it took 3 hours to get it partially straightened out. I have audio recordings. So I get into the unit and discover the water damage. I try to move out and get my money back. She says I need to be out by Dec. 8 or 9. I get my stuff moved out by scheduled close of business on the 9th. They are also raising the rent by about 25%, just because they can. The previous manager had sworn up and down they would never raise the rent. Definite bait and switch, after I invested the time, energy and money to move in. I spoke with the new manager who says they have no way of knowing if the water damage was preexisting. Essentially they are trying to say I had water damaged stuff when I moved in which I left in the unit for 5 months. Poor customer service they are rude and disrespectful, especially the asian looking man. Act like they are doing you a favor when you ask question. Do not recommend this storage facility. ...read more
