Mr Diaz scheduled a hearing, yet did nothing to prepare us for what was going to take place. He had no idea about how to defend our son, and did absolutely nothing to cross-examine the states witnesses, even though it was very obvious that they were not telling the truth. Mr Diaz was VERY unprepared for our hearing. He stumbled through the few questions he did ask, and had zero follow-up to the answers provided. I spoke to Mr Diaz a week prior to our hearing to voice my disdain for his lack of communication with us and my concerns with his lack of commitment to our son's case. I told him I was very disappointed with his representation. Do you know what he said to me? He said, "I am very disappoint that your son got himself into this trouble." SERIOUSLY? Isn't this WHY you are a defense attorney????? To defend those who have been accused of a crime?
