dr farless is one in a million! i would never spend time writting a review for someone, but i truly feel dr farless deserves it....he does NOT haggle you into having un necessary treatments, he's very easy going and makes visiting his office very peaceful. his work is painless, and after having been his patient for only a year...i am now no longer afraid to go to the dentist. i was scarred to death before! his staff is also very cool. i will never go to another dentist , i swear by him!

Moving to SoCal was hard because I had to find a new hair stylist, dentist, doctor, etc. I didn't really know anyone so I basically picked a dentist nearby. That dentist turned out be a real low-life! She told me I had to have 2 massive fillings done that day. I've had many bad experiences with dentists trying to get me to do expensive work that I didn't need so I always get a 2nd opinion now. I said no to the fillings, paid $25 for a copy of my x-rays, and sent them to my trusted dentist where I had lived previously. He told me there was nothing on the x-ray that would indicate I had any cavities. I changed to a new dentist with a Beverly Hills zip code, who confirmed I did not need new fillings, but he wanted to re-do all my old fillings and sell me on some cosmetic work. I was so happy when a friend recommended for Dr. Farless.

My friend described Dr. Farless as being very conservative in his dental practices (unlike the other "drill now, ask questions" later dentists) and "very zen." I've been going to Dr. Farless for many years and he and his staff are very nice. I have not needed any dental work - just cleanings and checkups - until recently when I injured a tooth on a pebble in my food and knew I needed a crown. He never makes me feel rushed and patiently answers all my questions. He will explain the options but will not pressure you into any decision or give you a sales pitch (e.g. I asked him about teeth whitening but he just gave me the facts and didn't try to get me to do it). I have to drive 45 minutes each way and pay $50 per regular visit out-of-pocket after insurance for an out-of-network dentist but it's worth it to me to have Dr. Farless as my dentist. I have referred a couple of friends to Dr. Farless, one who unfortunately knew he needed extensive work done, and everyone has had only good things to say about their experience and Dr. Farless. There are less expensive dentists out there but what's a good, trustworthy dentist worth to you?
