We ordered a car and used their by the hour service. We were really pleased with it, it was spotless and the driver was friendly, but not boring and intrusive, which is a plus of course. Metro Center which is close to Bordeaux contains many offices, private as well as government. If Metro Transportation Authority of Nashville Tennessee wants to generate money for their services a shuttle which charges 80 cents a ride would help. MTA shuttle to Farmers Market is free and the shuttle to the expensive restaurants of the Gulch is free. Those choices allow people to save money and spend that money saved to grocery shop and maybe buy a cheap appetizer at the Gulch. What a wonderful thing in today's inflated economy. If such a service is not possible then perhaps bus service to Metro Center on weekends could generate well needed money for MTA. In todays economy sometimes peoples' paychecks don't stretch far enough when cars break down and people run out of payday money for all the expenses a vehicle requires. Medical bills can be so expensive that the use of a car would not be possible--enter a Metro Center bus when these difficulties rise. ...read more
