I ordered my bridesmaid dress 12 weeks ago (their normal turn around time) and it is still not finished. They have plenty of excuses why it's not going to get to me in time: can't trust UPS to ship on time, I waited too long to order(NOT true), etc. They keep trying to place the blame on me when I ordered in plenty of time to get my dress before the wedding and now I don't know if I'll get it or not! Then when I asked them to overnight the dress to me, they tried to tell me I had to pay for overnight shipping! For THEIR mistake - I don't think so! The professional thing would be to eat the cost of the shipping because they made a mistake, but they are refusing to admit the mistake. Now I'm scared I won't get the dress and they will have charged me the 195.00 anyway. Because they have no parent company, they can completely get away with random charges and not giving me my money back. PLEASE be EXTRA cautious if you plan to use this store! This place is terrible. I'm sure there are people who have had positive experiences here and gotten the dress of their dreams. But what happens when you have ordered your bridesmaid dress 14 weeks before the wedding, and RJ orders the wrong dress and it doesn't arrive until the week before the wedding? I called for weeks asking where my dress was and he kept saying "it will be here tomorrow," but it never turned up. FINALLY, the week before the wedding, "a dress" shows up. But he never called me to tell me. I had to call and find out that it was there. Then, I drove an hour round trip with a sitter to watch my children (who i had to pay), only to find out that it was not my dress. So RJ said "I'm going to call Alfred Angelo and see what happened". He soon discovered that he had ordered the wrong dress, even though it clearly said on my $142 receipt, the number of my dress. So i had to go in for a 4th time!!! This store is a complete sham! We had a wedding and chose Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses. This was the only store in this area that carried/ordered these dresses. (UNFORTUNATELY!) All of my bridesmaids in this area (3 of them) ordered their dresses from this store in time for them to arrive for alterations, if needed. One of my bridesmaids was completely shafted by the store manager, RJ. Her "dress" arrived and it was the WRONG DRESS!!!! RJ had ORDERED THE WRONG DRESS! We had given him the right number when she ordered it, but he ADMITTED to ordering the wrong dress and making the mistake. We expected for him to do everything he could to correct the mistake... right? NOPE. All that happened was this. We had to demand that he have alterations done to the dress (which my bridesmaid hated and will never wear again!). We also had to demand that he give her a refund. I had a bad experience with an incompetent cashier at this store. I went to the store for Good Friday. There were two lines being tended to by two cashiers. I had been waiting in the left line for about 20 minutes. When it was my turn to be checked out, the stupid cashier called the next person from the right line. I politely approached her and told her that I was next in line. She just looked at me and didn’t even bother to apologize. She was very rude! Then, she dropped one of my shirts on the floor and, once again, didn’t apologize. I really wanted to give her a piece of my mind, but I hesitated because there were too many people in the store and I didn’t want to cause a scene. After I left, I noticed that she continued to take the next individual in the left line as she had been previously doing. She should be picking up trash instead. We placed our oder with promgowns4less on 3/31/2011 We were charged on 3/31 and 4/1/2011 for the SAME dress !!!!!!!!! We STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED OUR DRESS. It is april 18th!!!! Customer service is horrible. If you get a machine the voice messages are ALL full; probally all the people wondering what is going on !!!!!!!
