Killed our as-is deal for 239k. Had buyers completely approved with an 800 credit score. Gave lowest comps in the area. Required repairs that were not necessary. Gave no consideration for improvements or demand for the area. Went strictly off average house per square foot sale price. He has I am God syndrome over sale prices for houses in the area because he lives in the area. Cost us 14k. If you are a real estate agent - do not use him, he'll kill your deal. If you're a mortgage professional, DO NOT USE HIM he'll kill your deal. Went around telling our buyers we had termites when we had kept our house on a spraying contract and had a clear termite letter. Worst appraiser in Nashville. To patrica smith, on 8/05/09 you did appraisal on my home which i paid you 300.00 dollars l have been trying to get a copy of the appraisal report from you and you don't want to give it to me i will like to have my money back.the houses in my area are selling from 124to129 you appraisal my home for 114 you told me you are going to look at some report and make adjustment and send me a copy you have not done that.i call the mortgage company no one knows about it may be the number i have is wrong if you can give me the mortgage company number that will help.please don't let this simple matter turn big ...read more
