I did not know about the $10.00 per person entrance fee to have lunch! Lunch was wonderful, as was dessert. We had the best waiter EVER!!!! Wonderful gift shop upstairs and I just loved everything they had! With the Cheekwood reputation however, I was not expecting The Pineapple Room to be in a 1970's style...what I typically call an eyesore. I would be much more impressed should it be architecturally similar as the mansion, or of the time period. And what I thought about the mansion and tour. I learned about this store just a few miles from my Vanderbilt Apt from the Nov 06 issue of this national magazine. Some of their selections are featured in the photographs used in an article on Old Sheffield Plate for holiday tables. Beautiful items. Beautiful store filled with unique anique accessories.
