Hotel Indigo West End
By aknlu05 at Citysearch October 22, 2008
I have stayed at Hotel Indigo on West End now several times and have throughly enjoyed each stay! The hotel is chic and fun, yet still has all the comforts of home...including plush bedding and over-sized showers. I have never stayed at another hotel where I actually look forward to using the showers! The hotel is always very clean and the staff has been more than available to help me in any way. I attended a party on August 9th at the hotel. The balcony/deck on the 7th floor was rented and great for entertaining. The staff was MORE than helpful with everything! The bartender, Ashley, was incredible and kept our party happy with her drinks and friendly personality! I would definetly recommend this hotel for a weekend stay and/or gathering! Also, this would be a perfect hotel for in town wedding guests or reunions! Looking forward to my next stay at this hotel. The new improvements and changing artwork always help make each stay a new an inviting experience! ...read more

Preparing to Sell Your Nashville Home
How you prepare your Nashville home for a potential buyer can affect the likelihood of selling quickly. Here are some valuable home selling ideas: Home Exterior:Increase your the curb appeal of your home. Invest some time and money into your landscaping and home exterior to draw more people into your home, and build a strong "first-impression." 1. A trim landscape can attract Nashville home buyers, so mow and water your lawn. 2. Groom bushes and trees, and tidy up mulch, leaves and other ground cover. 3. Cover lawn bare spots or pet damage with grass seed. 4. Plant coloraful flowers: Yellow can symbolize new beginnings and evoke buying emotions. 5. Clean pathways, sidewalks, and the sides of your home. If necessary, rent a power washer. 6. Make your house number clearly visible from the street. Replace a worn or damaged mailbox. 7. Keep yard clutter to a minimum - store your bikes, toys and other equipment. 8. Repaint your house and deck, or touchup necessary areas. Keep a clean and well-kept appearance. Home Interior:Create open space and clear clutter. Let potential buyers see your home as a place where they will live their lives, and not the house that is about your life. 1. Remove your personal photos, pictures, paintings, trophies, mementos, etc. 2. Clear space by packing up random items you will be moving, remove books from shelves, and empty all counters. 3. Organize things behind closed doors. For example: arrange your spice rack, place cup handles in same position, neatly stack dishes, hang jackets or shirts uniformly and line up shoes. 4. Remove unnecessary furniture such as shelving units, extra leaves from the dining room table, or any thing else that may decrease the room space – rent a storage unit if you must.
