We knew that my Mother wanted to be cremated after her death and calling around to find out prices was quite shocking. I had always read cremation was a less expensive option but according to some of the other funeral homes, if we didn't have all this other extra stuff, we wouldn't be respecting our Mother. Good guilt trip but when I talked to Bartlett Funeral Homes upon recommendation of our hospice, they could not have been nicer, it was like talking to someone who knew you (and I don't live here). There was not a heavy sales pitch or guilt trip. They made the entire event extremely easy. They did everything we asked and "with a compassionate smile". The pickup from my parents home was extremely reverent and respectful. I can not tell you what peace this gave us. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone and everyone.
