This particular community like most communities within the City ofis seeking help and innovative ways to combat crime and take back their neighborhoods, one person, one family at a time. Many of the crimes that plague the streets ofare a result of aggressive acts and a lack of empathy from the individual. This program facilitated by Teresa S. Hall, M.S., Certified Anger Management Facilitator, designed to teach persons acceptable expressions of anger, strategies for stress management and how to eliminate violent and self-destructive behaviors. The participants develop a working understanding of their own anger/stress patterns and responses, recognize their responsibility in changing ‘maladaptive’ behaviors, and learn to use positive communication skills and listening techniques effectively.
