Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville

I typed this a short while ago and will continue to post it on "review" websites until we get out of the ER. We are now going on hour 3 of waiting.)I decided to go ahead and write this review while I sit here in the waiting room at Collierville Baptist. I wanted to do so because, apparently, I have far more time on my hands than I ever would have imagined. Actually, half way through typing that last sentence we got called to go to a room. We went through triage within the first 20 minutes of signing into the ER but then sat for literally another 1:40 minutes. So far, there has been zero sense of urgency and, at this point, I'm not expecting it to get any better. My advise to anyone would be to check the Methodist hospitals website for the Memphis/Shelby county areas before coming here. I looked at Methodist's online ER waiting times and most were around 50 minutes, with the worst stating 1:50 minute wait. That being said, even if it were an 1:50 wait here, at least we would have known. ...read more
