Parkwood has opened up a new Geriatric unit, It may not be like staying at the Hilton, but I've seen a lot of positive results, patients came in not doing well, and left with improvement, I kind of like working there its a good learning experience to stay healthy, protect my mind, and how to treat others with mental challenges. ...read more

A drug overdose claims the life of another promising musician. The coroner's report is back and it's official: Addiction has claimed the life of another popular musician. The death of Slipknot bassist Paul Gray death can now be blamed on an accidental morphine overdose, according to the Polk County, Iowa, medical examiner. The 38-year-old Gray was found dead in an Iowa hotel room near Des Moines in May 2010, and autopsy results now show he had been dead for several hours before his body was discovered. According to the toxicology report, Gray had a fatal level of morphine and fentanyl in his system, which caused the accidental overdose. His problems with drugs were a matter of public record, dating back to 2003, when Gray was arrested in Iowa on drug possession charges following an auto accident. Slipknot is a Grammy-winning metal band known for wearing creepy homemade masks on stage. Formed in Des Moines, the band's self-titled debut album went platinum in 2000.
