Windows 8.1 update has caused some folks grief during the install process, so I have compiled some tips. 1. Restart the computer and try updating again., sometimes windows is updating and the user is not aware. 2. Be sure you have ample free space on the hard drive, at least 1.5GB free. 3. Be sure your computer is free of malware and viruses, if you are unsure try installing and running malwarebytes. 4.
