We are a non-profit childcare center in Nashville and Pro Tech has been servicing our alarm systems for years. The cost has always been more than fair. If it is something they know we can fix, they will walk us through it rather than come out and charge a service call. This in my experience is not what most companies do. We just had a keypad security system installed to prevent access to just anyone walking in. We have four buildings that are old and Pro Tech did an amazing job of installation within our budget. It was no easy task and they had to be on site for quite awhile. Their presence was so easy to work around and we were actually sad to see them move on. They just fit right in. A few of years ago we built an addition to our Church Building. Because of the addition we had to install sprinklers in the entire facility. As the sprinkler contractor finished his work (as though it was an after thought) He said, " By the way you will need a monitored fire alarm system for this installation". We received a number of bids before talking with Mr. Young at Pro-Tech. The other contractors were all pricing work that was way over our budget. Mr. Young looked at our building then took our plans to Codes and came up with a system that would meet all code requirements and was very reasonably priced. His installation was completed and passed inspection in a very timely manner. Since then Mr. Young has performed our annual inspections and responded very quickly anytime we have needed his services. We have used Pro-tech Services for our seasonal events. Chad listened to our concerns and developed a system for our business that involved video cameras and CCTV. I had the privilege of working for a small family owned alarm company. We went to church together and I was taught to take pride in my work. We volunteered to put fire alarms and security systems in churches through out Tennessee. This was valuable to me in so many ways one of which was the experience. Adding to that experience I was able to work on everything from a modest home to multimillion dollar homes. Also from a small business to Industrial applications. Soon I learned that if I apprenticed for 5 years I could get my own license. So May of 2000 I earned my license Tn #0791. Which actually is 3 licenses (Burglar alarms, CCTV (Camera systems) and Fire alarms. Since then I have been subcontracting from larger companies. Through out the years I have picked up a few clients of my own. However I want to go a new direction and really build my own clientele.
