I love this place and you will too. Their designers always come up with great ideas and manage to stay within my budget. They recently put together a collage of wedding memorabilia in a shadowbox for me that made a wonderful keepsake. The selection of frames is very large and I trust them to take care of my treasures. Hobby Lobby had an ad online for employment on a few websites. Then they posted a sign on their door saying "Now Hiring." I tried to apply online, but it said I had to go into the store. I called this location before driving there, just to make sure they were still hiring and they told me they were. I went in the store to fill out an application and there was no customer service area. I had nowhere to fill it out. Then I gave it to the clerk, asking if I should give it to her and she said yes. A month later, I still have not heard any feedback yet. There is still a sign up for hiring and they still have ads online. I called back to see if they were still hiring and they said yes. ART GONE WILD AT THE KNOXVILLE ZOO - Presented by FASTFRAME
Art Gone Wild! presented by Fast Frame Friday, September 21 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Gone Wild! patrons can enjoy wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres as they peruse inspired works available for purchase by some of the zoos artists in residence. The offering includes paintings by black bears, chimpanzees (with special pieces by young George), gorillas, elephants, African painted dogs, meerkats, beavers, otters, lions, tigers, penguins, red river hogs, donkeys, baboons, and snakes. One-of-a-kind hand-painted tote bags and walking sticks created by the zoos gorillas will also be available. Guests will also have the chance to see some of the artists at work as the meerkats demonstrate their painting skills for event-goers. Zoo staff will also give guests the opportunity to watch a special lion training session at the all new Valley of the Kings exhibit featuring the Ann and John Schaad Lion Courtyard, and special enrichment demonstrations with the zoos African elephants and Sicilian donkeys.
