I have purchased 3 new bikes in the past 12 months form 3 different bike shops. All 3 were good experiences except for the purchase from West Bikes. After waiting a few weeks for the bike to come in they took several days to put it together, because the sales person was part time and it was his deal. Then when I got the bike it had a bad tire. I had to point it out. It was not rideable. It took them almost 6 months to get a replacement tire and since they wanted to save money and not replace it with the original I ended up with a cheaper tire than what was originally on the bike. That was bad enough but the worst was when I took it in for the replacement tire I was on my way out of the country for a month to Asia. I told the clerk this. When I got back they were furious that I had left my bike there so long and charged me $30.00 for storage. At that point I had waited more than 7 months to ride a bike I had spent almost over a $1,000.00 for. The rear brake was not put correctly ...read more
