Major attractions in the city include Harriman Heritage Museum and Roane County Park. Each year in the late spring there is a Polk Salad Festival. Among the biggest companies here are Christmas Lumber Truss Company & Browns Produce.The biggest schools here are Harriman High School and Midtown Elementary School. Best Exterminating Co. installed a termite bait system at my property on 6/6/16, for which I paid $500 cash up front. They have a written & verbal 2 yr. guarantee of extermination. They do not honor the stated inspection schedule. Can't reach them by phone, & messages not returned. They make appointments, then no show, no call. "Best Exterminating"?? - what a JOKE.
