Englewood is a part of the McMinn County region/metro area of Tennessee. Major attractions include Camp Livingstones and Englewood Textile Museum. Each year in the winter season there is the annual Christmas Parade. Among the biggest companies in Englewood are studio2tc.com and C&P Specialties. The biggest schools here are Englewood Elementary School and Central High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Englewood is Lost Sea.

I went into this jiffy mart this morning and a menonite couple were in there. They bought money orders, they bought $25 worth of kerosene, and some hotdogs. The lady got a cup of ice and asked if she could have some water for it and was told no. She was told she had to buy $1.30 cup to get water. Several customers stepped up to offer to pay for it for her, but the lady said no, she would just pay for her cup of ice and let it melt. A customer went out to their car and brought her a bottle of water stating she had just bought a case and could spare one. The counter girl then offered to pay for the ice cup herself stating that she was following policy as to the water. Since when in America do we refuse a person a glass of water when they are thirsty??? This policy needs to change. ...read more

I look forward to visiting Shop the World every Thanksgiving when I am 'home' in Englewood visiting family.
