I read reviews about this business before I decided to go look at his stock, and I almost didn't go because of what I read. However, I'm glad I decided to take a look because I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's a beautiful Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition, it's fully paid for, it's loaded, DVD player/screen, leather automatic seats, low mileage, and it runs like a dream. Now, my better half is a mechanic, and I do NOT purchase any kind of machine unless he inspects it first. I think a lot of the reviews are from consumers who perhaps didn't have the vehicle/s they were interested in checked before they decided to purchase it. I suggest that you have a mechanic look at any vehicle you might be interested in regardless of how or where u purchase it. We hooked it up to see what codes it had, if any, and the only codes were extremely minor. There was one code for the dash which we fixed with a fuse, and the other codes weren't reset after the car was serviced, so, we reset them. We also have complete service records starting from the year this model was released which was in '05. So, we knew it had been maintained. When I got the green light from all the data he collected during his inspection, we finished the deal. I bought this 05 Expedition January 2019, and with the deal he gave me for it (which I will not disclose because that's a personal thing), I couldn't have done better for what I was willing to pay. We have 4 children, and we already had a 1998 & 2013 Ford F-150 as well as a 2004 Land Rover Discovery which took care of our transportation needs. However, this fits our large family with plenty of room to spare. I hope that someone will read this review and at least take a look. They have really good deals. You may just find what you're looking for. Don't go by reviews when deciding where you're wanting to shop....just make sure you have it thoroughly inspected before you purchase a vehicle because they're not cheap. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the all-new2013 Ford Fusiona Top Safety Pick offering Smart Technology and Leading Fuel Economy to Cookeville and Middle Tennessee Drivers. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently named the all-new2013 Ford Fusiona Top Safety Pick for 2012 The all-newFusionfeatures the Personal Safety System, new safety belt technologies and a total of eight airbags which can provide protection for vehicle occupants in the event of a crash Redesigned seat-mounted side airbags incorporate new venting technology to further enhance side impact protection To earn a Top Safety Pick, a vehicle must receive a rating of “Good” in the following evaluations: offset frontal impact, side impact, dynamic head restraint and roof strength testing. In addition to the Top Safety Pick, the newFord Fusionoffers leading fuel economy and smart technologies, such as auto start/stop. “The newFusionis another example of Ford’s commitment to the highest standards of safety and we are proud that IIHS has recognized these efforts,” said Steve Kenner, global director of the Automotive Safety Office. Protection in case of crash The all-newFusionfeatures the Personal Safety System with new safety belt technologies and frontal impact airbags. The Personal Safety System is a network of components that work together to tailor the deployment of the front airbags during frontal collisions. The restraint control module (RCM) translates information collected by the front crash sensors, front outboard safety belt buckle switches, driver-seat track position and passenger seat weight sensor. Using this information, the RCM activates the safety belt pretensioners and determines how the dual-stage front airbags will deploy. This tailored deployment is designed to better protect an occupant by adapting its release to the size of the person. The redesigned seat-mounted side airbags deploy lower in the pelvis area in addition to the chest and incorporate new venting technology. The side airbag’s venting technology takes into account the size of the occupant. The tunnel vent on the seat mounted side airbag is designed to line up with the shoulder area of a larger occupant keeping the side airbag from venting. On smaller passengers, the effect is just the opposite because the occupant’s shoulder is below the vent, the gas vents out of the airbag. The driver’s frontal airbag uses a reconfigured curve-shaped tether system that pulls in the lower section to create a pocket that help to lessen the impact of the airbag on the driver’s chest and ribs in frontal crashes. Deploying at the same time is a driver’s knee airbag. Top fuel economy, driver assist technology TheFusionboasts leading fuel economy and numerous driver assist technologies that help enhance the driving experience, reduce stress and assist in avoiding potentially harmful scenarios. Fusion brings the broadest selection of fuel-efficient powertrains in the midsize car segment.
