I just called after realizing I forgot to sit my trash out last night. I wanted to see if there was a way to tell if the truck had already been by my house or not. The gentleman that answered the phone asked for my address and told me he would find out if a truck had been by. He also told me that if they had already been by he would have a route supervisor come take care of it for me. When I thanked him, he thanked me for being his customer! I am a new customer and I HIGHLY recommend this business for your garbage service in the Columbia TN area. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Steve was an absolute pleasure to deal with on the phone. If you have a question, if they are not available at the moment, they return your call promptly. I have been a customer for about 4 years, and I have nothing but good things to say about The Garbageman Inc. Once I was a little late getting my garbage to the curb on pickup day -- I gave them a call and they routed a driver back to my location and picked up anyway. I had some construction and remodeling done a few years ago, and rented a construction dumpster from them. They brought it out, rolled it off the back of their truck, and let me keep it on my property for a few weeks while I filled it up with all the construction debris (and lots of other stuff I'd been needing to dispose of forever). When I called them to let them know I was finished with it, they came out and carried it away on the same day I called. It was a surprisingly inexpensive way get rid of a LOT of junk.
