The Counter

The Counter is a great build-your-own burger place. I ordered the turkey burger on an english muffin with many yummy toppings! Turned out to be one excellent burger. And, I was particularly thrilled with the excellent sweet potato fries and accompanying dip! \t\n\t\nThe only drawbacks are that the prices are kind of steep for what you get. For example, burgers don't come with fries. You have to order them separately. Also, the service was very attentive, but the had about four servers standing up at the front of the restaurant chatting because there were only two of us in the restaurant! Kind of weird...it's a small restaurant. Besides the fact that this definitely seemed like an over-staffing problem, it also was a bit suffocating as a customer. \t\n\t\nAll that aside, though, we'll definitely be going back when I'm craving a good custom burger and excellent sweet potato fries! It's also a great place to go for healthy burger options since you can choose turkey burger, veggie burger or chicken breast!
