Reviews of Tello
Dire Duck
A pretty restaurant, but marred by TERRIBLE jarring music blaring (a staff- member's I-pod? Management -get a grip!)\t\nWhatever you do, avoid the duck salad. You get a lump of several-times deep-fried duck leg so hard you can only extract one forkful of edible meat. This is the worst duck confit in New York. If every other restaurant can get this right, what's their excuse? Never again!

Walking around Chelsea one evening I found Tello's Restaurant. I was single when I went in. I sat at the bar, had a few drinks and some pasta. I met this guy here and we started dating. Thanks Tello.

Chelsea is one of my favorite neighborhoods and I eat there often. I've eaten at Tello a few times and it has never disappointed. Sicilian salad followed by capellini primavera is my favorite. The portions are pretty big, sometimes I get to leave with left overs, still great the next day!

This restaurant is full of great ambiance with real comfort food. I've been doing some of the web design work for Tello, Trois Canards, and Casa Havana and find that the diners are always friendly, never rude and when I come in to visit the restaurant I am always greeted. These restaurants are real charmers.

Wine was not important to the dinner. Order vintage and get another, and the waiters neither know not care.

Brunch at Tello is one of the few things that gets me out of bed on a Saturday. The food is so so good and the staff is lovely.
