Great Dentist- Not So Great Front OFfice Staff
Both Dentist are knowledgeable, easy to talk to and I have no complaints. Stephanie, the front office person is the opposite. She has a self righteous attitude. She has cost us a lot of money by scheduling our cleaning and then it being denied by the insurance company (it was too early) even though we questioned how our insurance worked before the appointments. We were told "as an adult it is your responsibility to do the research on what your insurance covers... as a courtesy we file your insurance...unfortunately you will be getting a bill, I do my best". She took no part of being responsible for telling my husband incorrectly how frequently he could have cleanings, then went on to tell me how hard her job is and how much time spends each day dealing with insurance and this is a courtesy (of course if they didn't do this we would not have ever gone here), when I stated to go ahead and remove the entire family from their schedule since we would need to find another dentist office if this is how they handle their business she said "no problem". I asked why she seemed to happy to loose us as customers and she said "your husband was rude to me when I explained to him how unfortunately he would have to pay this time and he hung up on me". Because people are generally happy when you tell them you have to pay hundreds of dollars for a cleaning that a few days later you would pay nothing for and too bad? This is not the first time she has had an attitude, so beware- Dentist good, office staff makes even the dentist being good not worth it!
