I used to love this store. Lately for some reason they think their stuff is worth gold. The prices have gone up and there is a lady with dark hair that is SO crabby. After my last experience there I will not go back. The employee was extremely rude to a non English speaking couple, mad because they changed their mind on some items when learning the price. I must beg to differ on the comment about service. We have found that, while there are many thrift shops in SF, Y's Buys is head's above all others in every aspect. We have yet to leave without armloads of nicely-priced goodies, but our biggest treat about shopping their is the staff. While I do not know the names of all, the ladies there deserve commendations in every manner. If you want a bargain, or a hundred, and want EXCELLENT service, FRIENDLY staff, and good talk, and laughter then go visit Kim, Shawn, Tory, and the rest at Y's Buys. 5 stars all the way, and if I were not limited to only five stars they would be getting far more than that. I have purchased multip items and have found I have saved "HUGE" dollars. It is kind of like finding a needle in the haystack. Spend the time and you will find the great deals.
