Newell is a part of the Butte County region/metro area of South Dakota. Major attractions include Newell Museum and Bear Butte State Park. Each year in the summer season there is the Newell Bikefest. Three couples from wyoming love Laceys motel! The people are so friendly, and so is the town. The motel is an older one with the most comfortable beds and rooms. We stayed in the "antique room"!
