We always enjoy Apache Campgound, all staff is friendly and welcoming upon arrival; campsites are level, grass is well maintained "cutting going on everyday", although rarely use them, but the bath houses are always clean; however somewhat outdated, all in all, I continue to come back a lot during summer, fall and winter! love to just stroll to the pier and beach, which is just a pleasant walk and your there! ...read more

We were traveling on vacation and our car broke down. The service people at Beach Volvo got our car towed in and even took a part off of one of there used vehicles so we were not stranded without a vehicle while on vacation. I love this store my husband and I can go in there and pretty much make a day of it. He goes one way I go the other and we meet up at the end of the day.He gets his fishing /hunting equipment I usually go to the clothing we are both happy when we leave. We were stationed in North Dakota a few years ago and decided to take a detour from South Carolina to Spring Field, Missouri that is the best store I have ever been in. Now we are back in SC we either go to Savannah or like tomorrow we are going to the one in Myrtle Beach. They have a Cabelas in Minnasota but I did not care for it at all. I enjoyed my stay at the campground June 08. We stayed 5 nights in a tent accross from the beach. The accomidations were great. The crew were great. The only thing i could see an improvement on are the showers. At the begining of the week they were cleaned, by my last night there, there were pretty dirty. can't say that I would go back to Apache. I like the location and thought the people who worked there were great and very nice. I was not happy with the over all maintenance. I have been to many campgrounds and this was probably the worse. The bathrooms were extremely disgusting. They were not cleaned regularly. (I saw the lady go in maybe for 5 min.) there were tons of roaches in the table cracks next to our sight. I could not sleep in because people were weeding at AM. and couldn't cook out for there was no fire pit. I feel they had to many regulations. I would not of stayed the whole time though they make you sign something stating they don't give out refunds. After already checking in, I found a few other parks in the area in which I found to be nicer and less exspensive. ...read more
