This place was horrible! My son and I stopped in on our way home from Myrtle Beach. Although from Charleston, SC I wanted to stop at one more restaurant on the way home for seafood. It was the day before Thanksgiving and crab cakes was the special. My son and I looked at the buffet and decided to try it. Our server brought our first round of beverages and the check. She was never seen again, not even for a tea re-fill. My son (11 years old) was charged the adult price $8.30. He had two bites of a wet fried chicken and the top to a biscuit, which was all he could bare. I had Northern style BBQ which was hard enough to eat since I was hoping for Southern style and a crab cake full of filler and fried hard. When we left I voiced my opinion to the cashier, she never even made eye contact with me, asked my how old my son was. I told her 11, she swiped my card, handed it back to me and asked if she could help the next person in line! I was appalled. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If the parking lot is full it means the service is going to be horrible because they are not staffed to handle it. The food is even worst! I have taken some time to reflect on my numerous trips to Mr. Fish over Memorial Weekend. This place is awesome! It is a small, quaint restaurant where we were welcomed by locals as soon as we walked in. \t\n\t\nI had (first trip) a combo of blackened Haddock and fried oysters with fresh veggies, my girlfriend had blackened tilapia with bay scallops. The FRESH fish was incredible. By far the best seafood I have had anywhere in MB since visiting back thru my childhood. Everything we had (3 trips in one weekend) was extremely fresh, simple and very well executed. \t\n\t\n1st trip: Blackened Haddock & fried oysters w/fresh veggies\t\n\t\n2nd trip: Grilled Grouper Sandwich w/ a cup of She Crab Soup (INCREDIBLE)\t\n\t\n3rd trip: **Special** Grilled Escolar w/fresh veggies\t\n\t\nIf you are looking for the best, freshest seafood in MB, you owe yourself and loved one's a visit to this little gem.
