DO NOT RECOMMEND..Not impressed with our last visit to the Marlin Quay Marina or the Manager . I called in September to reserve a boat slip for 2 weeks. I spoke with the Manager and his quote was 125 a week, about the same as the other area marina's. Even though his price was slightly higher than the other quotes I opted to go with them since I had used this marina before and liked the location. On the day I went to get the boat slip they then quoted me a weekly price of $250, ....They called the manager over and he was very rude when we indicated that was not the price quoted to us over the phone, he then raised his voice and said I own this place and that is what the price has always been. To me it seems he's out to make a quick buck, as he had quite a few empty boat slips. Needless to say i will not be going back. Great place, great people, and great atmosphere. The owners are extremely nice people and will go well out of their way to help anyone they can. I highly reccomend using them for parasailing and or fishing trips. We had a great stay down there and cant wait to go back up and see these guys again. ...read more
