I have NEVER in my life been treated so poorly and carelessly in my life by any physician or practice. I have had MANY issues with my pregnancy. I was treated like a number and treated as though I was a complete inconvenience to them. I did not find ONE physician there who treated me with compassion or respect. I asked SEVERAL times for help on a few severe issues I had very early in my pregnancy. NOT ONCE DID ANYONE take any REAL time to help me with my issues except one WONDERFUL girl who was a nurses assistant. So to her, I am grateful. Because of their neglect I have suffered MULTIPLE issues that can not be corrected until after my pregnancy. If you are having ANY real issues during your pregnancy, do NOT go here. If you have been having a pregnancy that is a breeze, I imagine they would suffice. HOWEVER, if you are a high risk pregnancy, or are having any real issues, they will treat you neglectfully and make you feel like an annoyance. Pregnancy is difficult enough without having doctors you are afraid to call when you have a problem.\t\n\t\nPLEASE, do not allow this to happen to you.I know there are not a lot of choices in the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand area. But I promise you, ANY OTHER PRACTICE will treat you more professionally, compassionately and respectfully than Carolina OBGYN.\t\n\t\nShould you choose to try them anyway, and you are not being treated well, don't keep hoping that the next doctor they rotate you through to will be much better. I wasted 5 miserable months and NOW have a wonderful OB that treats me with kindness and compassion.\t\n\t\nWhat ever you choose, make sure you are comfortable with your OB and if you are unable to effectively resolve your issues with them FIND ANOTHER OB TO GO TO. Just wanted to say the few years I lived in Surfside she was my doctor. I went to her with pain in left side and she did exploratory surgrey which I woke up without my left ovary and tube. I didn't see any photos or reports on why this happened. I have since moved and her office refuses to transfer my records.
