I saw Dr. Nathan Averill today for several things I have going on and he was extremely rude. He was almost to the point of yelling at me and ask if I would like to receive treatment else where. Maybe I would have accepted that offer if it wasn't for me already having paid a co pay and taking time off from work. I would tell him what was going on and he would have a look of disgust on his face. He is extremely arrogant and will make you feel embarrassed about whatever you have going on. Would not even send my dog here to receive counseling! The people i encountered were so unprofessional it was unbelievable. There is at least one male counselor who continuously cancels appointments and arrives late for sessions. The front office staff for the most part, are pretty demeaning towards you. The physicians and nurses at Berkeley Family Practice are extremely helpful, kind and always willing to take the amount of time needed to take care of your issues. There is never a feeling of being hurried. It is a very relaxed environment, with nice considerate staff. Several of the doctors have special fields of interest.
