I attended this hole in the wall school about a year ago, at first i thought it was going to pay off but unfortunately it did not. I took the PT Aide course which was 8wks for $725. She promised me and the other student a job placement and a referral, that we have not seen since. It took her 4 weeks after the class was over to schedule our clinicals due to me almot having to harrasse her about when they were going to be. After finishing the clinicals it took almost 2 weeks to get my certificate. It isn't a legitiment school and you can tell by not having a book to study out of which should be the most important thing a school should have. The curriculum is something they probably just made up as they go. Im still searching for a job in my field of stufy but havent found any yet. This school is horrible and serves no purpose but taking money from people who are trying to do something and go somewhere in this world to feed her needs. $725 that I wish I would have never spent on this so called Training Center. Great training center.. I have taken alot of class over the years and have also taught alot of class @ TEC and in the work place. I enjoyed the class and the instuctor and the center where very helpful and professional. If you study, apply yourself, and have a postive attitude you will learn and achive your goal. I know first hand no matter what your age you can learn and achive your goals. So set your goals high and remember ATTITUDE is a small thing that makes a BIG difference.... Inspite of the negative reviews that were on Mejia's, I counted my experience as an enjoyable one. Everyone became like one big happy family. Mrs.Mary and her staff were very kind, helpful and sweet. Most of all Ms.Cathy is an Excellent Instructor and she will always have a special place in my heart. Ms.Cathy had so much patience with us and pushed us to do our best! I enjoyed myself!!! I recommend Mejias because what I learned was that the school can't do it all when it comes to our learning, but we have to do that extra research and learning on our own time and have a willing mind to learn outside the box.:) ...read more
