Recently moved out of one of their rental homes after a year. Heat went out in November before Thanksgiving. Repairman came out said a switch was sticking on the unit. He did not replace switch only repaired it to work temporarily. Heat worked off and on until Jan 31 Of this year. Called it in twice to the office as told to do so by repairman. No one came out to fix. No heat for the entire month of February. Final straw...we have 8 month old baby in the home. They want their rent on time but they dont wanna fix nothing for you on time and they also do not have a emergency repair service on the weekends or holidays for nothing. At one time, years ago, Vonz was a reputable and well respected property management company in handling our property in Columbia. In the past 5 years it has been a living nightmare.They allowed tenants with history of evictions to lease our property. They double charged for repeated repairs on the same items and did not send our rent payments on time. They blamed the postman, or the bank, or the tenant's late payments. We finally cut our losses after thousands owed for back rent from a non-paying tenant. If you have any questions, Glenn Rivers will rudely and condescendingly give you a mountain of excuses. If you speak to his son, you will hear silence on the other end and then he will tell you he will make a note. DO NOT LEASE YOUR PROPERTY WITH THEM... YOU WILL LOSE MONEY AND ADD FRUSTRATION AS YOUR FRIEND! Visit their current unkempt and disorganized office, if they are in, and you will RUN to a more reputable company!!!! Members and friends arrived from not only the Midlands of SC but also from NC to enjoy the sun and the camaraderie of this annual event. A Douglas Fir was planted in a container that needs a year's growth before planting it in a permanent sunny location. It will be added to the auction. Snacks were varied, different, and totally disappeared by the end of the event. The "bison" burgers were perfectly prepared and grilled thanks to Todd, Gene, Albert, and Allen. The potato salad and other fixin's completed the main course. Albert's brownies and Cheri's honey cake along with the premium black raspberry/chocolate ice cream were the perfect ending to the dinner. Our ladder toss champion remains Albert. The new bean bag toss game does not as yet have a winner. The next event is on May 7th in Hopkins, SC beginning at 2:30.
