The Draisin Vision Group

5.0

By firesign7070 at Citysearch

I trust no other doctors with my childs eyes. The Draisin Vision Group provides a thorough eye health exam and they offer testing for children that is beyond the scope of most local optometrists. The frame selection is amazing with great frame designs that I haven't seen anywhere else. My 8-year-olds frames have held up amazingly well and they are comfortable enough for him to keep wearing them! I also get my son's swim goggles and sunglasses they both have UV protection. ...read more

Elliott James DR

5.0

By Esther Moseley Lowndes at Citysearch

I have been with the Croffead/ Elliott practice for almost 30 years and have alwys been treated with the utmost repsect and care. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and my appointments are always on time. They have the most up-to-date facilities and equipment to make sure that you get the best diagnosis for your time and money. If I ever need to be seen immediately, they get me in and get to the bottom of the problem and if I need to see someone else for something that is not in their realm, they find the best person for me. I will never change doctors because they are the best.\t\nEsther Moseley Lowndes ...read more

The Draisin Vision Group

We had a bad feeling from Draisin from the beginning. The high costs from testing, the inappropriate behavior from Diane, the vision therapy head, and the insurance fiasco. They are billing us over a year later for balance billing, which is illegal. My insurance says that I do not owe them money, but they sent us a bill for $1500, even after my insurance company paid them.. They are participating providers in my insurance so should abide by their contracts, but they continue to practice illegal billing because Bridgette doesn't know her job. I have had to hire an attorney, and will be reporting them to the Attorney General, the Insurance Commissioner, and the BBB. They are crooks! ...read more

Office Move to James Island

We have successfully moved our office from our old location near Bees Ferry Road to our new location on James Island.  The new office space is larger and the layout is awesome.  I am very proud that we were able to do it in such a short time.  We saw our last patient at the old office on Wednesday morning, January 3rd, and started seeing patients on the afternoon of Tuesday, January the 8th.  We were able to move, set up equipment, install frame displays and cabinetry, set up computer networks, and get thing in working mode in a period of six days.  The office looks great.  Very professional.  I still have to add artwork, and finish a lot to fine tuning that will allow myself and the office staff to function more efficiently.  Dawn Rogers, my employee extrodinaire, has been a huge help, as was my brother Chris Morabito, who took a lot of time out of his busy schedule to help me with whatever was needed at the time.  Without these two, I would not have been able to complete the task as efficiently.  I am in great debt to both of them. We have hire a new employee, whose name is Katie Stockdale.  She is a new graduate of Ohio State University.  She's in training mode right now and seems to be picking everything up very well.  That's all for now! ...read more
