We used this CPA for several years. Service was terrible. Staff is highly unprofessional. Will not return phone calls. When request are submitted in writing they go unanswered. Mr. Stephens is rarely available and requires that you go through his "gatekeeper" (his own words). Unfortunately gatekeeper is very inefficient and was constantly not doing what she was supposed too. Cost us a lot of money on a transaction because of her procrastination. Very good at running up your tab and then not providing you with adequate documentation. Services are over priced since they are basically into data entry not real public accounting. As for as taxes you can do better with Turbo Tax and save yourself a lot of expense and frustration. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CPA TO ANY BUSINESS. ...read more

We paid over 300 dollars for their services. One year later we get a notice from the IRS saying we owe $2,000. First thing we do is go through our packet, there is a 1099 that is in the packet, but not anywhere on the form. Go to Liberty, and they review it for a couple of days. Best thing they can say is they "made a gross error but you owe the money to the IRS"!!! You filled it out. Now it is our problem? No refund for the $300 and they offer to put us on a payment plan. When we mention that it was their person that messed it up they stated "the IRS doesn't care who did it, but you will have to pay them"!!! Save your money and screw up your own taxes.
