Hi, Thanks for the connection. I am constantly asked for referrals to different businesses. Maybe we could work together. It is just a thought but wouldn't you like to make a little extra money off of the clientele, friends and family you currently have? There is no selling. We are the security professionals so we handle that for you. With ADT you can earn $125 per referral that purchases a security system through me.I supply you the information you need in order to get started. We register you right over the internet. You follow your progress over the internet, as well. I will be with you step by step and help you whenever you need it. You get paid once a month and the literature is supplied to you free of charge. It is that simple. No strings. If you are interested lets set up an appointment and I will fill you in on the rest of the details. You can also earn $200 off of an ADT security system for your home. The ball is in your court. Don't let it get away. Thanks,Terry Morse 7044252219 ...read more

RANDOM MUSINGS: The Digitalization of the nation.

Check out our work at muse-labs.com Recently our company went through a light trademark fight with Apple Computers over our name which was then SHAKE! Creative. We ended up changing it to MUSE DesignLabs. Not because Apple was too rigid and nasty about our name, far from it. Apple's lawyers said we could provide any service NOT pertaining to digital media. This to me was a red light. Not because our young company couldn't exist on print and web material alone or that we lacked the ability to market solely on print and web material. My reasoning was in 20 years what won't be digital media? Why on earth would I paint my company into a corner from the get-go? For instance, Walmart. They're switching over from carrying any CD's to having purchasable cards that the music is already downloaded onto the card and has to be activated at the cash register. This eliminates the awesome CD designs in the future, much like the was of the album art. That made me sad as a designer. Plus that's a lot of money for traditional design work that will all but be gone. But then you think big-picture and there will be countless opporitunities to market and design digitally unique products IF you know and prepare for the digital takeover in design. There will always be a market for traditional print, but it will switch to a more specialty skill and the tops of the top that choose to remain in that market will garner the lion's share. The pros for designing digital are definitely there. For instance, files are easier to handle. No knowledge of trim lines or paper types, or printers is needed. Light coding might be a necessity for multimedia projects, which may scare some. This though does also provide complications. It potentially makes the web as interesting as your local used car ad. Everyone will be designing media and though professionals can divide the good from the bad, but the rub is, a lot of clients can't. A HUGE part of a designer's arsenal is to listen, to explain their profession, and share their design philosophy to their clients. It's up to us to communicate what is good and what is not so good. But describe to the client why it won't work for them, they really won't care if you are critiquing their work as skill itself. Explaining to a client the reasons a design isn't right for them will also knock the negative vibe that will give off when studying their existing identity, etc. Anyways, that's my 2 cents. Hello. We are MUSE DesignLabs | Part 1

Well, here we are starting a blog. I hope it's well received or even received at all. I've never been much of a blogger but I have ideas and this is a seemingly better outlet than most. We are an idea company and what I mean by that is we create your identity, your website, pretty much the face of your business. We are designers but probably a little more than that because we think (sometimes endlessly) about your company. We worry about every nuance about the way your company is displayed towards your potential customers. Enough that when your company takes off, we feel rewarded. Just to introduce, we are a new company and we are really gearing up after a surprisingly good first year in these economic times. We started in 2007 by me, Richard Gregory. I cut my teeth at a sign company. Did you know Woody Guthrie worked in a sign shop? Amazing. If I have 1/10th the talent in my line of work, I'll be ok for a lifetime. After that, went to a major university and worked as a designer for their venue and concerts. It really clicked with me because of my fanaticism with music. After that, went and worked at a local paper, but due to my local freelance business making me work all total 13+ hour days, I read the writing on the wall and branched off on my own. SHAKE! Creative was founded in 2007 but was my full time employment in April 2008. And that as you can probably guess did not last. Apple Computers did not like my name choice and after much back and forth, relinquished the name. MUSE DesignLabs is now here for 2009 and beyond. ...read more
