I purchased tires and took them to Aiken Discount Tire to have them put on my VW Jetta. My tires have lug nuts that require a key to unlock them. Aiken Discount Tire didn't put the key back in my trunk where they found it. I only found out this fact when I went to have my tires rotated about 3 months later. I called Aiken Discount Tire and spoke with Christy. She transfered the call to the shop phone and some unidentified employee, once I explained the problem, hung up on me. I called back and spoke to Christy again and she only repeated several times, like a parrot, we always put it back., we all ways put it back. She never apologized or showed any sympathy for the mistake Aiken Discout Tire had obviously maked. Now I have to go to the VW delership and eather get a new key or have the luggnuts changed out. My car is an 2003 modle and I have had several tires put on and off and have retained the key all this time until I took my car to Aiken Discount Tire. ...read more
