2009 CAnAm Spyder Roadster RS
I purchased my Spyder from this location on June 12, 2009. I have had the bike into the shop for numerous issues most of which have been problems with the bike going into a "suspected Limp Mode" without warning and then jumping back to full power without warning which... is in total contradiction to what the Owners Manual says should be happening. I have almost fallen off of the bike at least five times when this has occurred. Other times, the bike went back to normal after I turned off the key, removed the key to allow the computer to reset and then I restarted it and it was fine...however the other times have proven to me that the bike is physically unsafe to ride until this loss of power and then resurgence of power can be fixed so that it doesn't occur again without warning. My wife's and my biggest fear is that the resugence of power will occur when I need to stop and I lose control of the bike and cannot stop in time to keep from hitting an object or make a curve. D.
