I am ten years old and go to the CDC and it is great. The owner,Pat Medeiros, is wonderful. The teachers are also amazing. They never yell and if you are having a hard time they always help you step by step. Their names are Brittany, Mikayla, Kimberly, and Wendy. In the studio the students are never judged. They even have a sign that says "It's about the best in each one, not the best one". The students are kind and are always nice to each other. The CDC is welcoming to boys and girls. You can drop your child off or sit in the waiting that has magizines and a tv to watch the dancers with their teachers in class. The CDC is in tiverton, RI. This class is an experience in realizing who you are and who you want to become. Barbara is a very unique and enthusiastic teacher who has a true love for the dance. The wonderful thing about this dance is that there is no prior experience needed. Everyone can join in and no matter what you look like or how old you are you can still learn something new and have fun in the process. I just started a few weeks ago but already I am seriously addicted to the dance, music, and spirit that goes along with it. This dance is so beautiful and not enough people know about it. Every class is a blast! Barbara is an excellent teacher, these classes can really make you feel like a princess, it's like an island just for myself, where I feel beautiful and wonderful and great.
