Well, that has changed at one full service coin laundry on SR-7 near Griffin Road. A fully functional internet cafe has been implemented with 4 PC's going over a business-grade internet connection. Just imagine what you can get accomplished whilst the laundry is churning. You can clean (no pun intended) your e-mail inbox from the daily spam-collection, you can browse an online encyclopedia to help you with the homework for your study, you can connect to the VPN connection of your business - and get ahead on the presentation you have to do in the morning, or the reports that are due. Or go ahead -- be wild -- and play that online game. For a couple of dollars per hour you have a fully secured, high-speed network connection at your disposal. The owners of the coin laundry are not making big bucks with the charge for the computer time, but it has drawn in a lot more customers. They are planning to expand the wired network to 8 PC's, and are considering providing a WiFi network as well. Exiting times for them and me.
