A few years ago, I had to leave my great job due to illness.  I could not really afford the insurance conversion package I got upon leaving.  So, I set out to find a more affordable healthcare package for myself.  I said, "Thank God I don't have any kids!"

So, I sit here now, very comfortable and happy that I have health coverage -- coverage that I can AFFORD.

I often wondered why insurance is so expensive.  I think it supports all the real estate holdings insurance companies have, and all the other mega investments they hold.  Well, that's great for them!  But, we have 50 million Americans out here who don't have health coverage.  A goodly portion of those people just simply cannot afford it.  In our capitalistic society, we are not responsible for one another.  We are only responsible for lining our own pockets.  Well, the insurance companies hate us.  Why?  Well, that's obvious.  Because we have proven that they are scamming us.  Health Care does not need to be as expensive as they have made it.  The American public is about to find out all about it!
