I was visiting my grandparents at the Willow Valley retirement homes right down the street and we HAD planned to go to their restaurant. However, when we asked an employee she directed us to the Willow Street Diner and recommended their chicken pot pie. When we got there we were greeted and seated with a friendly smile. The good vibes kept coming as the food was served in a timely manner. The food was ABSOLUTELY terrific. Chicken pot pie is HIGHLY recommended however you can only catch it on Sundays and i believe Wednesday. Less than $10 and that includes a salad so it is very reasonably price and i assure you will not be disappointed. We plan on going there every time we visit the grandparents!!! ...read more

Light lunch Sunday 2/20/11. Food was great and fast, waitress was a pleasure. Hostess was so bad we would never go back again. In both instances eyed us up and continued conversations with waitresses, no "I'll be right with you" or "give me a minute", just a condescending stare. No reason for this rudeness. ...read more

Wasabi Japanese Restaurant

We have been enjoying this restaurant for a few years now after we just happened to find it at Kendig Square one evening. My husband and I, and our two teenage sons think it is fabulous! We also love their Pad Thai and habachi offerings. The atmosphere is very nice for a romantic dinner, too, with elegant, simple decor and a weeping wall fountain with fish pond. Besides regular tables and booths, they also have a few tables available of more traditional seating at low tables. If you go, be sure to try the Thai Iced tea. Enjoy! ...read more

How Do Restaurants Make Enchiladas?

Many people think that an enchilada in a restaurant is much better than anything they can ever find at home, unless they know a lot of Hispanic people.
