Everyone parades around in the store with their handy tablets ready to get their commission from you but they sure don't care if they screw you over in the process. That's what our lovely salesman Vince did to us. We were in the store for hours because Vince couldn't figure out how to correct the problem he caused on our account. We were patient though and when Vince told us our account would be fixed by the end of the day and everything was taken care of we believed him. Then we received our astronomical bill in the mail. My husband took it to the store and Vince said "he thought he credited the account but it must not have gone through" The manager who was there also did nothing to correct it but said "they'd work on it" and we'd get a call from them once it was done. A week later and still no phone call. I ended up dealing with Verizon by phone and even they couldn't believe what he had done....or didn't do for that matter. They have submitted feedback regarding the incident to the district manager. I've been lied to numerous times by Verizon customer service though so I expect nothing to become of it. I just think it's a shame that the store sales people can rip people off and there's no true way to report them to anyone who can do anything about it. After waiting around for 45 minutes on a rare, warm November Saturday, the salesperson called my name to the register and I told her I wanted to ungrade my phone. I asked her about a certain phone and she shakes her head and says, No, No. I asked her why she was so negative, and she said phone was new. I asked if she could show me some features and she replied: It is just a phone! When I insisted, she couldn't even unlock the phone. Then she says, you want it or not? I refused to buy a phone from such an ignorant person. I had to go on line to find the features. Every time I visit this store, they are non-caring. Glad Verizon customer service is there.
