I placed this order on9/28/09 at 8am for a couple of jogsuits in stock. I called for status on 10/1 and the girl said they're being shipped. Since their order status page shows order in progress all the time, it doesn't really tell you anything. I called on 10/2 and spoke to Melissa. Her response: Items in shipping, Delayed in shipping Dept., doesn't know why and cannot tell me why since she doesn't work in shipping. I couldn't talk to a manager, because they were all taking orders, it's the chrismas rush! No time for customer service! She then accused me of tying up her line and hung up on me! I called on 10/3, and after much more of the same, a manager, mr. george, came on and basiclly repeated what Melissa had said and hung up on me. Now i have to start again on Monday. They tried to charge me $3.63 sales tax on a $55.95 order with a special offer of no shipping charge. That $3.63 is 6% of the total order. In Pennsylvania, there is no sales charge on the shirts I was going to order. When I called and talked to Mrs. Gustafson, who claimed to be a supervisor, she was obtuse. No matter how I explained to her, she couldn't get it. Then I asked for her supervisor to call...he/she never did. I complained online and got an apology from a Mr. Thompson in the President's office. I asked why there were no controls to prevent what had happened. I got a dopey response from Ms. Sorensen who said boldly that their computers "are programmed to charge the proper amount of tax for orders." Really? Believe it or not, that order is still showing on my computer but they say they don't know anything about it. It still shows improper sales tax. That is stupidity. I'm filing a complaint with the Attorney General. Let them play hard and fast with facts with the AG! ...read more
