My kitchen sink was clogged so I called McLoughlin. Their technician came out and tried to address the problem. He spent about an hour snaking the drain which improved the clog, but did not fix it. This cost me $300!!! Before he left he ran the water for about 5 minutes and the sink drained. I am not a plumber, so I figured it was good to go. About an hour after he left, the sink, for whatever reason, was in the same condition it was before he came out (and we did not put anything down it after he apparently fixed it. After all we had just spent $300. Why would we dare put something down the drain besides water after spending that amount of money?). I called Mcloughlin and explained to them that it was still not draining properly, and they told me that in order for them to come back out, and do the same thing, it would cost me an additional $300. We were very happy with the heating service we received from McLoughlin. They diagnosed our problem quickly and resolved it just as quickly and we had heat on an extremely cold night. ...read more
