South Hills is a great school for a change in career, or hand on field. It offers educationally opps otherwise missing in the community, However, it comes with problems. Teaching Staff: While there are some great teachers at this school, I found the majority to be 2nd tier . South Hills obviously isn't very attractive for teaching staff and it shows by the staff they employee. I found one teacher in particular to be downright discriminatory - something he wouldn't get away with at a bigger school. Lack of Facilities: South Hills closes some of it's buildings at 4:30pm. This is particularly true of medical imaging where a lot of hands on experience is needed. Teachers are running out of there at 4:30pm and the labs aren't open on the weekends either.
