Hired one of the partners as counsel froze my case for over a year. Once we got to court there was no plan in place. The key witness signed an affidavit disproving what the witnesses said. Didn't use. Didn't use any of the witnesses for my case. Knew the witnesses were corrupt had solid information didn't use it. Lost a case to where there was no evidence only testimony. Sat in court and watched my name get slandered and the counsel I supposedly hired had no defense for it. Had evidence didn't use any of it just refuted and did a case brief. That's not what I wanted or agreed too upon hire. It was a disgraceful experience. The whole time I hired her kept saying she could win on appeal. How can you win on appeal and not in court? Tried to get more money out of me by stretching my case out to the appeal level so then I hired a professional attorney. I never pay anyone twice to do the job right the first time. She wouldn't answer phone calls they would go to fax. Had to email to get in contact. I asked her before I hired her if she's dealt with cases like this and she said yes get into court and she was overwhelmed. She also kept saying my case was special but it wasn't the case it was her. Fda Says Peanut Corporation Of America Knowingly Shipped Peanut Products Contaminated With Salmo March 22, 2017 by Berger Lagnese, LLC An FDA inspection team that recently visited the Blakeley Georgia plant of the Peanut Corporation of America discovered that on 12 occasions in 2007 and 2008 tests conducted by the company found salmonella contamination in its products but that it shipped the contaminated products to customers after a retest found no contamination and did nothing to clean the plant. Meanwhile, more than 400 consumer products, including Jenny Craig nutritional bars and Keebler Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers, have been recalled, and eight people have died and more than 500 people in 43 states, including Pennsylvania, have been sickened by salmonella poisoning caused by peanut butter and peanut paste sold by the Peanut Corporation of America. April 05, 2017 by Berger Lagnese, LLC A recent study of 1,132 breast cancer patients done at the University of Michigan shows that many woman poorly understand the risks and benefits of breast cancer treatment options The author of the study Dr. Sarah Hawley stated that the information may be delivered to the patients but often is not understood. The study found that nearly half of the breast cancer patients did not know whether survival rates and recurrance rates were the same after mastectomy or breast conserving surgery. Dr. Hawley advised doctors to tell the patient the information more than once. Breast cancer patients are advised not to hesitate to ask questions about anything they do not understand about breast cancer treatment options. 47-Year-Old Woman Killed in Westmoreland County Car Crash
April 19, 2017 by Berger Lagnese, LLC State police say a three-vehicle car crash resulted in the death of a Salem resident. The crash reportedly took place south of Forbes road on Route 819 around 1:30 PM. The victim has been identified as a 47-year-old Salem resident. According to local authorities, she was driving an SUV when she crossed the centerline of the road and was struck by an oncoming truck. Police state that she was reported dead at the scene. No other deaths or injuries were reported.
