My husband and I purchased an expensive leather sofa, love seat, and recliner from Levin Furniture in Greensburg, PA., December, 2012, along with the Guardian Protection Plan that was to cover accidental damage to the leather. While showing our home, a real estate agent allowed a child to stand on our sofa, and she tore the leather - a 1-1/2" tear in the leather which tore to the backing. I called Guardian and explained the situation - they denied our claim as the slice didn't go all the way 'through' to the foam (!), it only tore the surface. It was the most disappointing excuse not to process the claim for accidental damage. I will NEVER purchase this protection plan on furniture - buyers beware. Overall, everything is in super great, clean condition with prices being very reasonable considering the quality. No junk here! Remember, Castle Shannon is very near Mt Lebanon where most items originate. Do not expect to find everything of your dreams on your first visit. You should make a point to visit often as items are arriving and departing on a daily basis. Service is superb. Lisa will greet you with a pleasant smile and point you in the direction of your items of interest. She will also make time to chat, which in my opinion is a very pleasant surprise compared to other consignment shops.
