We were shocked recently by Kale's religious intolerance after he worked for 9 months with our daughter. Previously we had been very happy with Kale, but when he found out that we were not sure we were comfortable with our daughter preforming in a church do to our religious beliefs he immediately told us to find another guitar instructor. We were stunned that not only would he not allow our daughter to abstain from the recital for religious reasons, but when we asked to simply check the church out to decide whether or not we were comfortable with the specific location he had chosen for the recital he would not give us time to do so, but politely told us how we could get a refund for our remaining lessons and made it clear he would not work with our daughter any further. Now we need to explain to a 3 year old that the guitar teacher she has become attached to for the last 9 months won't work with her anymore.
