I had an acident last year and i went to this place and the never finished my bmw, the guy at counter told me that he order this part (a small cover that cover the preasure washer ) and he told me that he will do it when the part comes, and I went there he wan it $35.00 more for the part, i told him ok BUT he wan it more money to install it!. When I went to the Costa's Auto Body to get my car fixed, they gave me a good price. I dropped off my car and picked it up the next day but when I got there the guy told me that I couldn't pay with my credit card-- which was the only way I had planned on paying for the damages. He said he accepts check or cash only but he failed to mention that earlier, before I dropped off my car. So, I was stuck, I needed my car to get to work that week but did not have a large sum of money just laying around. \t\n\t\nSo, I figured out a way I could pay for it, with help from my mom and my boyfriend but needed a few days to get the money together. I wrote him a check and I told him he could NOT deposit it until that Friday because I won't have the money until then. I emphasized that so many times, even wrote it on the check, ""Do NOT deposit till X date."" The guy said that he could wait till Friday and that he understood completely because he hates it when people cash in his checks when they're not supposed to. He seemed like a nice guy who wouldn't screw somebody over...or so I thought.\t\n \t\nI checked my bank account a few days later to see that the guy cashed in my check. I was SO upset and even more upset to have to pay bank fee for going in the negatives. \t\n\t\nThat is such an awful thing for someone to do, especially for such a large amount of money. This is the worst aUto body place I have ever encountered. Thy are so unprofessional and I had take my car back there three to four times to have it fixed correctly and they still didn't fix it right after they were the ones to break it. A $500 deuctible ballooned to $3000 bcaus they destroy my air-conditioning system. Tracy one of the workers admitted o breaking it but they refused to pay for it. Only a fool would give Auto Specialties a bad review, people always looking to get something for free. I think this is the best shop in the north east. They do exactly what I request and even go the extra mile on simple repairs at no charge. NO BAIT AND SWITCH AT AUTO SPECIALTIES! Take the time to recall the extra things that was requested like your heater repair, when you you ask for extra naturally you pay the extra amount that makes sense.
