This marina is starting to look like a trailer park and that does not say much especially with the poor caliber of people they allow to take advatage of all the perks that are unlimited to live aboards staying on their boats 24/7. Unlimited cable, Internet, water, electric showers bathroom security and a parking . They are homeless and they are living it up compliments of Philadelphia marina each yr. It get worse. I met this old man and his lady friend live on their salboat all year round at pier 12. As a boater this is ver discouraging and gets me upset. Came here for a visit and we were extremely disappointed. We stayed in the transiate slips we paid to have views of constant piles of garbage float around our boat. We talked to some of the regulars there and what I mean about that is it"s amazing what a total stranger would devulge to you. Let's see we ran into them in the restroom they cane out of the shower and they were doing laudry so we asked why he doesn" t just take it home and he said he lives hear at the marina on his sailboat all year round I think he said his name was bob older man.
